There is food everywhere, btw. If my grandmother was here she'd be filling up her purse and shoving things in her sleeves. -SnacktimeShut Up, Foodies: Cover Art Update
Apparently the thing I thought was a UFO is a frying pan. - SnacktimeShut Up, Foodies: Cheese Clock?
There is a cheese clock (I KNOW) here and Meatball just said "It's brie o'clock" which caused three of us to cackle so loud the press room stared. Shut Up Foodies: Our own best audience. - SnacktimeShut Up, Foodies: Julia Childless Arrives
I am here! I have Champagne!! And cheese that I cannot pronounce. There is some guy on the TV that I don't quite recognize, and I have decided that everything should be edible at food awards. Even the glasses. Someone should get on that. -Julia ChildlessMarcia "The Tablehopper" Gagliardi: Timothy Hollingsworth Needs a Vodka Tonic, Stat
Go California: Timothy Hollingsworth just won Rising Star Chef and even though he’s currently sipping some champers, I asked what he’d really like to be sipping on. That’s right: a vodka tonic. Someone get the guy a drink.
Shut Up, Foodies: Press Room Snacks

Carol Blymire: Grant Achatz? Also My Homeboy
Sporting some hot Ermenegildo Zegna shoes, chef Grant Achatz (with his lovely girlfriend, Heather) heckled me as I tried to ask him some very serious questions: Q: What if I told you part of your presentation was that you had to dance across the stage with Kate Gosselin? A: :::::crickets::::: (eyes rolling) Q: What's your guilty pleasure when it comes to food? A: Ice cream. Any flavor. Q: What superhero power do you want most? A: (answered by his girlfriend) X-Ray vision!!!!!! Q: What did you have for breakfast? A: Juice and pizza from room service. Q: What's your favorite swear word? A: Carol, I don't swear. (At this his colleague, friend, and business partner Nick Kokonas busted out laughing. For a good five minutes.) Q: When can I come have drinks at Aviary? A: Soon...very soon.Pages
