To commemorate the anniversary of the Titanic’s fateful voyage, chef Rob McCue has designed a menu that invokes the opulence and grandeur of the meals served to the most elite passengers at the coveted captain’s table. Join us for an epic journey through a long-gone era during this elegant and historically inspired dinner.

Tickets to events held at the James Beard House cover the cost of food and a unique dining experience. Dinners are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. All alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.​


  • Hors d’Oeuvre
    • Oysters à la Russe with Tomatoes, Vodka, Shaved Horseradish, and Micro-Celery
    • Macallan 12-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Spheres with Crispy Barley
    • Bone Marrow with Potatoes, Fermented Pears, and Beet Reduction
    • Wild Sturgeon Caviar with Crème Fraîche and Grapefruit and Beet–Cured Salmon on Foie Gras Blinis

    • Consommé Olga with Sturgeon Marrow, Celery Root, Mushrooms, and Vegetable Garni​
    • Poached Wild Salmon with Cucumbers, Mousseline Sauce, and Crispy Salmon Skin
    • Filet Mignon Lili with Potatoes Anna, Artichokes, Foie Gras, and Black Truffles
    • Punch Romaine > Ginger Oil with Rum, Champagne, and Frothed Egg Whites
    • Roasted Duckling with Barley, Cress, and Sous Vide Apples
    • Waldorf Pudding with Olive Oil Cake, Apple–Walnut Crumble, and Smoked Sultana Grapes
