Oakland Style is an annual, weeklong celebration of art, fashion, music, cuisine and culture. A Taste of Style, presented by Visit Oakland kicks off this festive series with a fabulous dinner and vintage fashion show, presented by a group of Oakland's top chefs.

The fashion show will feature creative takes on vintage looks from Oakland's renowned White Elephant Sale, from the Oakland Museum Women's Board. This dinner benefits both the James Beard Foundation and OMCA.

Taste of Style, Presented by Visit Oakland is part of the Friends of James Beard benefit series; events hosted by others to benefit JBF, to provide critical funding for our programs, and to help JBF achieve our mission to celebrate, support, and elevate the people behind America’s food culture, and champion a standard of Good Food for Good© anchored in talent, equity, and sustainability.
