Join JBF Greens for a progressive tasting menu experience at Indienne, an Indian fine-dining restaurant in Chicago’s River North. 
Sujan Sarkar is the chef and partner of celebrated modern Indian restaurant brands BAAR BAAR (NYC, LA), and Indienne (Chicago). Indienne, which opened in September 2022, has already garnered praise locally and nationally for its approachable vegetarian and non-vegetarian tasting menus.  
For the occasion, chef Sujan and this team will prepare a whimsical multi-course menu, rooted in his modern European training and infused with the ancient, bold flavors found throughout the Indian subcontinent. Beverage pairings will be selected by sommelier Tia Polite, and will reflect a wide range of wines that complement the cuisine. 
*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business while 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.

All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event(s) be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, The James Beard Foundation will offer options including ticket exchanges, use of tickets for future events, and option to donate tickets.
