The James Beard Foundation Greens (foodies under 40) is joining forces with Jazz at Lincoln Center’s own under-40 group, Hang Set, for a spectacular evening of delicious food, stunning views, and great music. Guests will enjoy a reception featuring some of New York’s finest chefs, Les Trois Petits Cochons, and drinks from Stella Artois, Momofuku’s Má Pêche, and Maison Louis Jadot, followed by a concert featuring the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis in JLCO Hosts: Kenny Garrett & The Music of Mulgrew Miller.

JLCO Hosts: Kenny Garrett & The Music of Mulgrew Miller

JLCO trombonists Chris Crenshaw and Vincent Gardner turn their attention to
the music of pianist Mulgrew Miller and saxophonist Kenny Garrett, whose paths intersected during tenures with Mercer Ellington, Woody Shaw, and Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. Garrett joins the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis to celebrate and honor the music of the late, great Mulgrew Miller.
