Join JBF Greens for a taste of Central Mexico at Aldama in South Williamsburg. 

As the debut project from first-time restaurateur and veteran bartender Christopher Reyes, Aldama is an ode to the vibrant nightlife and traditional street foods of Mexico City. Alongside Reyes is chef/partner Gerardo Alcaraz, who will curate a custom three-course menu, highlighting classic recipes from his hometown of León, Mexico.

The evening will also feature sparkling wine from J Vineyards & Winery and still wine pairings from Dough Wines. 

*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business while 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.

Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests, chefs, and entire restaurant team to experience our events is a top priority.  The James Beard Foundation will adhere to city, state and/or federal regulations along with the policy of our host restaurants, which may include: wearing masks when not at your table, maintaining 3-feet of distance away from guests, or providing proof of vaccination. Ticket buyers attending the Greens event will be alerted of the final policy in an email at least two (2) business days prior to the event date. Thank you for your continued understanding and compliance with these measures for your safety and the safety of those around you. 

All reservations must be made in advance. Should the event(s) be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, The James Beard Foundation will offer options including ticket exchanges, use of tickets for future events, and option to donate tickets.
