Before landing at the Alvah Stone, Montague’s new American hot spot set in a historic gristmill, David Schrier manned the pizza oven while Jessica Pollard was pastry chef at JBF Award semifinalist Hungry Ghost Bread. For this special dinner celebrating the Lammas festival, Schrier and Pollard will reunite with Hungry Ghost’s Jonathan Steven and Cheryl Maffei for a feast celebrating all of the animals, vegetables, and grains of the Pioneer Valley’s harvest.
